November Mission Moments

We encourage your joyful participation in these recurring mission outreach opportunities for our church. These are but two of our church’s ongoing priorities for our local outreach and support that demonstrates our commitment to Jesus’ calling for us to love our neighbor.

Helping Hands for Warm and Safe Homes Telethon

• November 17, 2022 -- 5 am – 8 pm on WAGM-TV

• Sponsored by United Way of Aroostook, Aroostook County Action Program, and WAGM-TV

• You may donate to this annual heating assistance project (link) through our church, or during the telethon. The Church Budget has reserved $500 for this important County-Wide Mission Offering. Last year we were able to give a check for $1,200 from the church. 

Grace Interfaith Food Table (GIFT) 

• As one of the four founding partners of our local food pantry, the PIUCC church family commits to providing weekly food donations, and pledging a financial commitment through our annual budget. 

• GIFT is currently in need of non-perishable food items for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, including: corn bread mix, cranberry sauce, evaporated milk, stuffing mix. Contributed items can be brought to the church. Monetary gifts are also welcome.
