Strengthen the Church
The Strengthen the Church offering is one of the several 5 for 5 mission outreach appeals we make each year. We provide support for both the Maine Conference and the national offices of the United Church of Christ by contributing to Our Church’s Wider Mission (OCWM), and 4 special offerings as a 5 for 5 congregation.
The funds raised for Strengthen the Church support leadership development, new churches, youth ministry, and innovation in existing congregations. By our generosity to this offering, we build up the Body of Christ.
While we have received this offering on Pentecost Sunday in the past, we are gratefully receiving designated Strengthen the Church gifts throughout the month of June. Thank you!
