Pastoral Care Partner

As was announced in church last Sunday, we have arranged for the Rev. Dr. Diane Langworthy, pastor of the United Parish Church in Fort Fairfield, to partner with us and provide pastoral care for our church family on a part-time basis.

Diane will be available for visits with those hospitalized, home-bound (or otherwise unable to attend church in person), and for weddings and funerals, if needed. She’ll also be available to meet with those who wish to talk with a pastor about the things going on in their lives. The arrangement allows for up to 10 hours per month. If you would like to speak with her to schedule a visit or alert her to someone who may benefit from one, you can reach her at 386-847-0883, or contact the church office.

In addition, Diane is prepared to offer Bible studies, book discussions, and/or prayer groups, with members of our two congregations meeting together, as there is interest expressed. She will be preaching at one of our services later this fall, so keep an eye on our newsletter for more information.

We believe that this relationship can lead to even more opportunities for collaboration and partnership with our United Parish Church neighbors, and we look forward to working with Diane in the coming months.
