Community Yard Sale (updated)
Led by the Welcome and Care Ministry team members, our church will participate in the City of Presque Isle Area-Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, June 3, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. We need donations of sale items, and cookies (and more) for a Bake Sale table, too!
Proceeds from the sale will benefit funding for the church's local mission partners (GIFT, Pride Aroostook, Hope and Justice Project, Homeless Services, and the Home Heating Telethon sponsored by ACAP, United Way of Aroostook and WAGM-TV).
Here’s how you can help:
YOU CAN DONATE …
Items you no longer need or want
Bring to church on Thursday, June 1 – 8am & 3pm (or later, as needed)
Drop off earlier - anytime (if you have a key), this Sunday, or by “appointment”
leave items in rooms in lower level (see signs)
If you need help moving larger items, or desire pick-up (see below **)
NO TVs, computer hardware, or large exercise equipment, please!
Provide cookies or other goodies for a Bake Sale
Let Sara Harvey know if/what you’ll donate (saraharveywork@gmail.com)
Drop off Bake Sale items on Friday, June 2, or by 8am on Saturday
If you have collected reusable bags, please consider donating some to assist shoppers with their purchases.
YOU CAN VOLUNTEER …
to help set up and price items on Friday, June 2
help staff the sale on Saturday, June 3
help with taking down tables and moving unsold items

This is going to be a fun day, and has already sparked enthusiasm within the church community.
