Planning Your Own Life Celebration

POSTPONED (to be rescheduled) The season of Lent calls us to reflect on our own mortality. We need not fear death, as we are assured it does not have the final victory. Many of us prepare for the disposition of our bodies so that loved ones left behind don't have to make those difficult decisions in the midst of grief. We choose burial plots, contact funeral homes, etc. We carry life insurance to care for our loved ones financial needs.

But do your loved ones know, and in the midst of grief, will they remember how you want your life celebrated? Where have you found comfort and strength to sustain you in difficult times? What solace would you share with them?

Meg Hegemann will hold a workshop on Saturday, April 8 at 10:00 am to help us through this process of planning our own funeral or memorial service. Consider this an ideal Easter gift to your loved ones.

This will be an in person event only, and will meet at the church.
