Paving Path Fundraiser

On Sunday, April 8, the Property and Finance Ministry launched the Paving Path fundraiser. The goal of this fundraising is to raise money to offset the cost of repairing and paving the Second Street parking lot entrance — a much needed repair project.

When completed, this fundraiser will earn $5,050. These additional funds will take a great burden off other ministry resources of the church, as we complete our paving project.

How It Works

If you live locally —

In the sanctuary you will find a basket of cards labeled 1 to 100. You are invited to reflect on your offerings and take the card(s) with numbers that have meaning for you. Consider using a birth year, anniversary date, child's ages, or any amount within your personal budget. Total the numbers, and that is your donation amount. Include the cards, along with your check or cash, in the provided envelopes and bring or mail to the church. Your donation may be made anonymously, or with your name included for tax purposes.

If you’re part of our online congregation —

Call or email the church office with your desired number(s). We will pull that card, or combination of cards, and that total will be your donation amount. You can then mail a check to the church (please write “Paving Path” in the memo).

Donations can also be made online. Click on the Donate button at the top or bottom of our website; select the “Other Gifts” category; type in your gift amount, and below that select “one-time” and “now,” or a “future date.” Because the online giving platform will not let you add a description for your donation, please call or email the church so we know the amount you’ve donated online is meant for the Paving Path project.

For each card that is returned with the donation amount, our steam roller will move one step down the “Paving Path" and closer to the finish.

This is a collective project; it cannot be done by one person. All donations are important and all donations are meaningful. Working together, we will reach our goal.
